Description The IT Architectures module is primarily focused on different architectural solutions when building a large IT System. The course is designed to incorporate about architectural styles for different application types, document and assess the strengths and weaknesses of each approach, and ultimately include insights into the state of the art and newer software architecture patterns and standards included but not limited to Service Oriented Architectures, Microservices, and Serverless Architectures. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. To explore the state-of-the-art architectures for different application types and further understand the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches 2. Be able to design an architectural solution. 3. Dfferentiate between existing architectural patterns 4.
